Hi, team! I wanted to take a minute and let you know how much I'm thinking about you.
This week, we've seen our COVID numbers rise, and I'm incredibly proud of our teamwork, your courage, your nimbleness, and your dedication to caring for both patients and each other. We've opened additional COVID units; we've picked up, pitched in whenever and wherever we need it. And for many of us, we face some fear and uncertainty while we continue to refine plans and execute our next steps — always together and always as a team. And this is what UVA is about.
Starting next week, we're going to be hosting some operational sessions to make sure everyone has the information that they need. I just wanted to take a minute and let you know how proud I am and extend my sincere thanks to everyone.
